It's getting hot in the Bay Area, but are you still craving Shin Ramen? Well lucky for you... I have a hack that transforms it into a vibrant, chilled noodle dish that is perfect for Summer days. Instead of soup, I combine the classic Shin seasoning packet with scallions, garlic, and sesame seeds. Then I pour of sizzling hot oil over everything and mix well: This unlocks an incredible aroma and flavor that still has all the properties and qualities of the signature shin ramen– just without the broth. Run your cooked noodles under cold water, toss in the sauce, and add some refreshing garnishes.

  1. Cook your noodles (1 package), run under cold water, and set aside.

  2. Add seasoning packs, garlic (1 tsp), green onion (1 stalk), soy sauce (1 tsp), and sesame oil (½ tsp) to a bowl.
